I’m a faster and I didn’t even know it!

Yes, I’m an intermittent faster, but not because I tried to be. Turns out this is just how I’m most comfortable and it fits my lifestyle best.

Does that still count? 🤔

I’m not big on promoting diets or the latest fitness fad. I am big on finding a rhythm with habits and food choices that make people feel good.
.
This means there is not a one size fits all regiment for everyone.
.
When I eat late before bed I don’t feel good in the morning and I tend to have better workouts on an empty stomach. This means I end up eating in a window between 12 and 7.
.
I don’t eliminate food groups, but I do listen to how I feel after I’ve eaten food. Because I know how I feel after I eat certain foods it allows me to choose the right foods for the right time.
.
My goals are to be healthy with no symptoms, to be strong, able to perform athletically at the level I’m accustomed to and participate in any activity I want to. I never want my capabilities to be limited because of my physical fitness or lack there of.
.
My lifestyle demands health, athleticism and strength. It does not demand skinny or any specific size of clothing.
.
I take the actions I need to do so I’m able to meet these demands.

Eat Whole Foods,
Lift heavy things,
Run
spend time outside
grow food
Supplement
manage stress
.
If you’re struggling with health goals try getting down to what you truly want because I’m willing to bet it isn’t a specific pant size.

In fact, it’s rarely about a particular esthetic, but more about the feeling you think that esthetic will bring.

I feel pretty great trail running with my 19 year old and I’m certain no pant size could match that.
